A little about me...
As a mental health professional, my passion for mental well-being is deeply rooted in my personal journey and experiences within the system, where I often felt like just another statistic. I'm committed to providing my clients with a therapeutic journey that offers a safe and secure space for them to process and embrace a range of emotions, all while feeling validated.
My mission extends to breaking the stigma within the Latino community, where individuals and families can resolve their conflicts without feeling invalidated or overlooked, ultimately breaking the cycle of generational trauma. I specialize in addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, self-esteem, positive parenting, and disruptive behaviors in children and adolescents. My approach is highly tailored to each client's unique needs, incorporating mindfulness and self-regulation techniques to equip them with the tools to thrive.
I work with my clients to challenge negative thoughts, cultivate positive coping skills, and establish healthy boundaries, enhancing their everyday functioning. When working with children and adolescents, I embrace the power of art and play as alternative modes of expression to foster growth and healing. Let's embark on this transformative journey together.
